Job summary

Inter IKEA Systems B.V. in Belgium seeks a Purchaser to join Group Procurement on a permanent contract. You will drive strategic sourcing, manage suppliers, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver value across the business.

You will lead sourcing projects in accordance with Source-to-Pay processes and SAP Ariba, negotiate to optimise total cost, and monitor supplier performance while upholding IWAY and the IKEA Code of Conduct.

Qualifications

• Experience in supplier management and supplier development.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and one of the local languages (FR or NL)
• Good knowledge of the IKEA business model, strategic landscape, and ways of working.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing and procurement practices, processes, and methodologies.
• Good understanding of the indirect procurement industry and Belgium market conditions.
• Experience working with project management methods and processes.
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
• Good understanding of commercial and contractual matters.
• Knowledge of cost drivers and value creation opportunities.
• A genuine commitment to IKEA values and vision.
• Knowledge of the SAP Ariba Source-to-Pay process is considered an advantage.
