Job summary

ING Belgium seeks a seasoned Head of Compliance Quality Assurance to lead the monitoring of the end-to-end Compliance Control Framework. You will manage a team in Belgium and oversee remote hubs, partnering with business units to challenge risks and improve product and service quality.

You will define monitoring strategies, stay current on testing methods, and coach a growing team while ensuring actions are completed within timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

• Master degree required.
• 10-15 years in banking or internal audit.
• Excellent communication in English and either French or Dutch.
• Professional scepticism, analytical, able to synthesize.
• Flexible, people management, eager to learn.
• Proficient in data analytics.
• Willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Define the compliance monitoring strategy and yearly monitoring plan.
• Stay up-to-date on monitoring and testing developments, including data analytics.
• Manage stakeholders in business and second line of defence, including Internal Audit.
• Coach, evaluate and provide feedback to team members.
• Supervise day-to-day quality of work and ensure timely, budget-aligned monitoring.
• Communicate clearly identified issues and remediation actions.
