POLITICO Europe is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to act as a trusted advisor to newsroom and business leaders in Brussels. You will deliver strategic and hands-on HR support across the full employee lifecycle within a matrixed European organization.

The role emphasizes workforce planning, organizational design and data-driven decision making. You will partner with the VP Human Resources – Europe to align priorities with global strategy, guide leaders through change, and ensure

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required; HR certification (e.g. CIPD or equivalent) a plus.
• 5 to 8+ years of progressive HR Business Partner or Senior HR Generalist experience in Belgium; international/ newsroom exposure preferred.
• Fluency in French and English (oral and written).
• Strong knowledge of Belgian and European employment law and HR best practice.
• Deep knowledge of talent management, employee relations, workforce planning and organizational design.
• Hands-on experience with HRIS systems and people analytics.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as trusted HR advisor to senior newsroom and business leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, performance management and culture.
• Partner with Europe HR leadership to align HR priorities with global strategy.
• Provide pragmatic HR guidance focused on speed, clarity and risk awareness.
• Navigate complex people situations with discretion and confidence.
• Coach leaders through change including reorganizations and workforce transitions.
