Shurgard Self-Storage is seeking Centrally Managed Expenditure and Third-Party Management Accounting & Reporting Manager to lead a team responsible for planning, monitoring, and governance of centrally managed costs across Europe. You will oversee accounting, reporting and intercompany recharges for the European Support Center, while partnering with stakeholders to ensure transparency and cost control.

You will supervise a 2-person team and collaborate with FP&A, Consolidation, Treasury and Tax

Qualifications

Bachelor or Master in accounting/finance/economics or equivalent experience.
Minimum 7 years of accounting experience.
3+ years in financial management and leadership roles.
Exposure to multi-country/shared services is a strong plus.
Experience in the Services or Retail sector.
Fluent in English and Dutch or French; other EU language skills are a plus.

Responsabilités

Oversee accounting and financial reporting for subsidiaries per IFRS and local GAAP to meet statutory and group requirements.
Manage partnerships with external service providers (domiciliation agents, consultancy firms).
Track IT, Legal and Advisory expenditures against budget and manage IT Project Office follow-up.
Supervise intercompany recharges and month-end close processes with Third-Party management/owners.
Ensure high-quality management reporting and proper documentation of significant transactions.
Lead a 2-person team and develop staff through training and performance reviews.
