Shurgard Self Storage is seeking a Senior Manager of Centrally Managed Expenditure and Third-Party Management Accounting & Reporting to lead accounting and governance across Europe. You will build and mentor a small team, ensure IFRS and local GAAP compliance, and manage intercompany recharges for the European Support Center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master’s degree in accounting/finance/economics or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of accounting experience and 3+ years in leadership roles.
• Experience in multi-country/shared services environments is a strong plus.
• Experience in Services or Retail sectors and multi-ledgers (IFRS/local GAAP).
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems, with SAP experience a strong advantage.
• Fluent in English and Dutch or French, both written and verbal.

Responsabilités

• Lead accounting and financial reporting for subsidiaries per IFRS and local GAAP.
• Manage external service providers and intercompany recharges for the European Center.
• Oversee month-end close, budgeting, and management reporting.
• Ensure compliance with control framework and tax declarations in collaboration with Tax.
• Develop and train a 2-person team, aligning with FP&A, Consolidation, Treasury and Tax.
• Support internal/external audits and strategic projects including mergers and acquisitions.
