Michael Page in Brussels seeks an Accounting and Reporting Manager to lead a growing finance function. You will ensure accurate reporting and financial transparency while partnering with IT, Legal and other teams on cost management.

You will oversee central accounting, reporting and control for expenditures, manage relationships with property owners, review monthly results and drive month-end activities with a focus on process improvements. You’ll develop a small team and foster collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent experience.
• Solid accounting background with at least 7 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills - French and Dutch
• Previous experience managing and developing team members, with a genuine interest in people leadership.
• Strong business partnering mindset and the ability to build effective relationships with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Experience working in an international, multi-entity or shared services environment is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of SAP; experience with ERP implementations or system improvements is highly valued.

Responsabilités

• Oversee accounting and reporting activities for centrally managed costs and third-party managed assets.
• Partner with central functions such as IT, Legal and other support teams on financial performance and cost management.
• Own the accounting, reporting and control of centrally managed expenditures.
• Manage the reporting and relationship with third-party property owners, ensuring accurate information and timely responses to inquiries.
• Review monthly financial results, analyse variances and provide clear financial insights.
• Coordinate month-end closing activities, reconciliations and intercompany recharges.
• Drive process improvements, strengthen controls and support systems-related initiatives.
• Lead, coach and develop a small team, fostering collaboration and high performance.
