Job summary

i4m is seeking a driven procurement professional in Belgium to own strategic purchasing for high-value, project-based works. You will collaborate with internal experts, project teams and external partners to shape sourcing decisions and support contract management.

You will lead tendering, define procurement strategies, and drive category development while ensuring compliance with quality, planning and safety requirements. Fluency in Dutch and English is required.

Qualifications

• Strong procurement or sourcing experience, ideally in a technical or project-based environment.
• Ability to manage complex tenders and negotiate contractual terms.
• Ability to translate business/project needs into sourcing strategies.
• Proactive, analytical and capable of adding long-term value within the category.
• Clear communication in cross-functional settings.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement process, including market publication, tender analysis, negotiations, offer evaluation, and project award.
• Lead the setup and execution of tendering procedures.
• Define and implement project procurement strategies based on market insight.
• Work closely with internal specialists and colleagues to align needs with market capabilities.
• Build expertise in the market and technical domain of the category for long-term strategy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify needs, improvements, and opportunities.
• Support procurement objectives and category knowledge in negotiations and contracts.
• Monitor commercial and contractual follow-up of projects, ensuring compliance with terms (quality, planning, safety).
• Develop sustainable relationships with contractors in cooperation with supplier management.
