Job summary

Legend Biotech is seeking a (Senior) Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate payroll processing, data integrity, and regulatory compliance for Belgium operations. You will partner with HR and finance to deliver timely payroll, manage time and attendance, and support onboarding and offboarding.

You bring 4+ years in payroll, have deep knowledge of Belgian social and labor law, and fluency in Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in payroll or HR administration.
• Minimum 4 years of payroll experience, preferably in a production environment.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• In-depth knowledge of Belgian social and labor legislation.
• Experience with payroll systems such as eBlox, Protime and Workday.

Responsibilities

• Payroll and administration: oversee personnel administration, ensure data accuracy, manage time and attendance, and process payroll on time.
• Collaboration and employee support: main contact for payroll, social law and time registration inquiries; support onboarding/offboarding.
• Compliance and process improvement: monitor social, fiscal, and labor law updates; participate in audits and improve workflows.

• Payroll and administration:You will oversee personnel administration, ensuring data accuracy in all HR systems. You will manage time and attendance systems, resolve issues, and process payroll accurately and on time. Additionally, you willanalyzeand resolve discrepancies while preparing monthly reports and ad hoc requests
• Collaboration and employee support: You will act as the main contact for payroll, social law, and time registration inquiries. By working closely with HR and other departments, you will enhance efficiency and support onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Compliance and process improvement: You willmonitorand integrate updates in social, fiscal, and labor law into payroll activities. Your role includesparticipatingin audits, improving workflows, and ensuring compliance with all standards.

Who are we looking for?

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in payroll or HR administration.

Experience

• At least 4 years of experience in payroll, preferably in a production environment

Languages

• Fluent in Dutch and English, enabling clear communication across teams.
