Redwire Space is seeking an Embedded Software Architect to own the complete embedded software flow for satellite equipment or scientific instruments, aligning software lifecycle with the project and collaborating with the Electronics System Engineer and project manager.

You will translate customer requirements into software specifications, participate in design and validation reviews, maintain software documentation, and lead testing campaigns to ensure mission success.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
• Experience with ESA ECSS-E-40/Q-80 standards and embedded systems.
• Strong knowledge of electronics, C/C++, and FPGA/VHDL.
• Fluent in English and strong planning/communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Translate customer requirements into software specifications and participate in design and validation flow.
• Lead equipment/software test campaigns and document results.
• Maintain software documentation and plans in line with project phase.
• Ensure technical coherence and assist reviews with the project team.
