Redwire Space seeks an Embedded Software Architect to own the complete embedded software flow for satellite equipment or scientific instruments. You translate customer requirements into software specifications and collaborate with the Electronics System Engineer and project manager to ensure coherence.

You will lead design reviews, maintain documentation, and drive validation and test campaigns, ensuring traceability throughout development and reporting results to the customer.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in software engineering, computer science, or equivalent by experience.
• Experience with ESA ECSS-E-40/Q-80 standards and design, development and testing.
• Hands-on knowledge of microelectronics and embedded platforms.
• C and/or C++ proficiency; FPGA (VHDL) familiarity.
• Fluency in English; proactive, organized, and collaborative mindset.

Responsabilités

• Own the complete embedded software flow for satellite equipment or instruments.
• Translate customer requirements into software specifications and drive design.
• Review, challenge and assist embedded software design engineers and perform tests.
• Maintain software documentation and traceability through development and test.
• Lead equipment/instrument software validation and test campaigns.
