Job summary

Space Applications Services, located in the Brussels area of Belgium, seeks a Space Electrical/Electronics Engineer to join the Avionics & Embedded Systems Team in the Systems Department. The role covers electrical design of spacecraft payloads, PCB work, testing campaigns, and supplier qualification.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 3+ years of experience and hands-on FPGA/SoC work.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in electrical/electronics engineering with at least 3 years of experience.
• Experience with electrical/electronics hardware design, PCB/ECSS/IPC Class 3.
• Knowledge of FPGA/SoC IP cores; VHDL/Verilog helpful.

Responsibilities

• Electrical and electronics design of spacecraft payloads.
• PCB design and testing per ECSS/IPC Class 3; simulations.
• Procurement and qualification of COTS/HiRel electronics subsystems; radiation considerations.
