We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect to provide high-value technical services for a prominent EU Public Agency within its IT Implementation & IT Governance unit. Working in a dynamic multicultural environment following Agile methodologies, you will play a key role in designing business and technical architectures for digital solutions, defining functional and non-functional requirements, elaborating architectural artifacts (context diagrams, C4 views, API contracts, data models, threat models, deployment diagrams), and guiding development teams during implementation.

You will contribute to the modernization of an Enterprise Knowledge Management Platform for regional and urban policies within an EU Public Agency, ensuring internal collaboration and a secure extranet for national authorities of EU Member States. Architecture & Solution Design: Design end-to-end secure, scalable, and compliant digital architectures, defining integration patterns, event-driven architectures (EIP), and data flows. Artifacts & Modeling: Elaborate C4 model views, context diagrams, data models, API contracts (REST, GraphQL, OpenAPI, AsyncAPI), and perform threat modeling using Zero Trust and OWASP frameworks. Collaborative Platforms & Integration: Drive Information Architecture and system integration for enterprise collaboration tools, secure extranets, and knowledge sharing systems. Technical Guidance & Leadership: Mentor development teams, translate technical architectures into business value, and foster collaboration across multicultural stakeholder groups.
Education & Experience: Master's degree with a minimum of 15 years of IT professional experience .
Domain Specific Expertise: 5+ years of proven experience in EU Cohesion Policy and Structural Funds, supporting digital solutions for EU-funded programs.
Core Expertise:10+ years in Solution Architecture & Design, Requirements & Business Analysis. 10+ years in enterprise collaborative platforms (SharePoint, Confluence, M365) and collaboration tool development. 10+ years in technical leadership, mentoring, and technical coaching. 5+ years in System Integration, Interface Design, and Information Architecture.
Languages: Very good command of English (minimum C1 level) and working knowledge of French (minimum B1 level, both spoken and written).
Architecture & Design: C4 Model, Context Diagrams, Information Architecture, Threat Modeling (OWASP, Zero Trust, ISO 27001).
Collaboration & Knowledge Platforms: M365, SharePoint, Confluence, Secure Extranets.
APIs & Integration: REST, GraphQL, OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, Integration Patterns (EIP), Middleware.
Backend & Languages: Java, Python, Microservices, Enterprise Applications.
