Altia is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to provide high-value technical services for a prominent EU Public Agency within its Digital Solutions unit. You will design secure, scalable IT solutions, including business and technical architectures, data models, C4 views, API contracts, and threat models.

In a multicultural, Agile environment, you will guide development teams, define APIs and cloud strategies, and ensure compliance through DevSecOps practices and threat modeling.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with at least 15 years of IT experience.
• 10+ years in architecture and design of information systems.
• 10+ years of Java (J2SE/J2EE) with design patterns.
• 10+ years in relational databases (Oracle, MySQL).
• 7+ years in REST and SOAP web services development and UML (2.0+).
• 7+ years developing secure web applications.
• Very good English (C1) in speaking and writing.

Responsabilités

• Design end-to-end secure, scalable, and compliant IT solutions and create business/technical architectures.
• Elaborate C4 model views, data models, API contracts, and perform threat modeling using STRIDE.
• Define microservices, API management, and cloud architecture strategies while guiding development teams.
• Collaborate within multicultural teams adhering to modern DevSecOps, BPMN, and Agile frameworks.

Role

We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect to provide high-value technical services for a prominent EU Public Agency within its Digital Solutions unit. Working in a dynamic multicultural environment following Agile methodologies, you will play a key role in designing secure, scalable, and compliant IT solutions, including business and technical architectures, data models, C4 model views, API contracts, and threat models (STRIDE).

The project

You will contribute to the digital solutions unit of an EU Public Agency, ensuring robust architectural design, security compliance, and integration of large-scale systems.

• Architecture & Solution Design: Design end-to-end secure, scalable, and compliant IT solutions and create business/technical architectures.
• Artifacts & Modeling: Elaborate C4 model views, data models, API contracts, and perform threat modeling using STRIDE framework.
• Technical Guidance: Define microservices, API management, and cloud architecture strategies while guiding development teams.
• Methodologies & Environment: Collaborate seamlessly within multicultural teams adhering to modern DevSecOps, BPMN, and Agile frameworks.

Requirements

• Education & Experience: Master's degree with a minimum of 15 years of IT professional experience.
• Core Specific Expertise: 10+ years of specific expertise in architecture and design of information systems.
• 10+ years of specific expertise in Java (both J2SE and J2EE) with extensive knowledge in design patterns.
• 10+ years of specific expertise in relational databases (Oracle, MySQL...).
• 7+ years of specific expertise in web services development (REST and SOAP) and UML (version 2.0 or above).
• 7+ years of specific expertise in developing secure web applications.
• Languages: Very good command of English (minimum C1 level, both spoken and written).
