Altia is seeking a Data Architect to design, evaluate, and evolve enterprise data architectures, BI solutions, and data platforms within an international environment. The role emphasizes data governance, DataOps, and scalable data solutions across projects, using Jira for agile delivery.

Based in Belgium, you will contribute to data architecture, warehousing, and migration initiatives, ensuring data quality, performance, and interoperability in complex transformation programs.

The project

• Data Architecture & Platform Evaluation: Analyse and design enterprise data architectures, evaluate data and integration platforms, and contribute to the definition of scalable and sustainable data solutions.
• Data Warehousing & Modelling: Design and optimise relational databases and Data Warehouse environments using conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling approaches adapted to enterprise requirements.
• ETL/ELT & Data Integration: Design and develop data integration processes, pipelines, and transformation workflows while contributing to reliable and maintainable data architectures.
• BI & Data Migration: Support the evolution and migration of Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse environments, ensuring data consistency, performance, interoperability, and continuity throughout transformation processes.
• Data Governance & DataOps: Apply data governance principles, metadata management, version control, automated testing, and modern DataOps practices while supporting data environments prepared for advanced analytics and AI-related use cases.
