IBA Worldwide is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer in Louvain-la-Neuve to contribute to the ongoing development of customer and supplier portals. You will work with the Product Owner and Tech Lead to deliver reliable, scalable solutions for users worldwide, focusing on agile and collaborative delivery.

The role requires a Master’s in CS and five years of software engineering experience, with strong Kotlin/Java, Angular, Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD expertise.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• Five years of experience in software engineering.
• Solid experience in web application and full-stack development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin or Java 17+, using Micronaut or Spring Boot and Gradle or Maven.
• Experience with Angular.
• Knowledge of Python or Rust is an asset.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, code reviews and continuous integration and deployment.
• Comfortable working in Agile and DevOps environments.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture, service-oriented architecture, and asynchronous and synchronous programming models.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Collaborative, open-minded and committed to delivering high-quality solutions.
• Curious about new technologies and willing to continuously develop your expertise.
• Able to organise your work autonomously, take ownership and propose initiatives.

As a Full-Stack Software Engineer within our Digital Software team, you will contribute to the continued development of our customer and supplier portals. These in-house solutions support users worldwide and offer an exciting roadmap of future developments.

Working closely with the Product Owner, Technical Lead and other Software Engineers, you will help deliver reliable, scalable and user-focused solutions aligned with business needs. We value agility, ownership, collaboration and the willingness to challenge existing approaches.

Compensation package

The total guaranteed annual compensation range (which includes annual base salary, as well as flexible budget if applicable, and car budget in specific locations) for this position is provided below:

Total gross guaranteed annual compensation range: [53,600 – 83,200]

The salary range indicated above is provided in compliance with applicable pay transparency requirements and reflects the typical compensation scope for this position based on the role's level of responsibility, required expertise, and location. The actual offer will be determined on an individual basis, taking into account objective and gender-neutral factors including relevant professional experience, qualifications, specific competencies, and internal equity. The range does not constitute a guaranteed salary and is subject to adjustment based on the final assessment of the selected candidate's profile. The role might also qualify for additional compensation elements such as variable pay, profit sharing, and benefits which are not reflected in this range.
