Exhibitly.ai in Ghent, Belgium is hiring a Software Engineer to join as a founding engineer, shaping product with founders on end-to-end features. You’ll ship core features from backend logic to frontend UX, collaborate with the CTO, and influence product decisions in a fast-moving startup.

Expect autonomy, ownership, and a path from early-stage engineering to a scalable product used by thousands of users as the company grows toward its seed round and international expansion.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience shipping and maintaining production web apps.
• Proficient with Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind.
• Relational databases experience with PostgreSQL (Supabase).
• Startup mindset with fast iterations and ownership.
• Strong communication about technical decisions.

We’re hiring a talented and experienced Software Developer to help ship and scale our core product.

About the job

Exhibitly.ai is an AI marketing tool that helps B2B event organisers boost attendance with personalised micro-sites tailored to each visitor. It’s the first in a growing suite built to modernise a space long overdue for disruption.

We’re a young startup with a product that works, users who love it, and demand growing faster than we can keep up with. That’s why we’re looking for a (founding) software engineer to help us scale the tech and shape the rest of our product suite.

What you’ll do

You’ll join early and work directly with the founders to build, ship, and scale Exhibitly’s core product. Expect autonomy, ownership, and a front-row seat in a fast-moving startup.

Who we’re looking for

• Have 3+ years experience shipping and maintaining production web apps
• Be confident with Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind
• Understand relational databases (we use PostgreSQL via Supabase)
• Thrive in a startup environment: fast iterations, shifting priorities, real ownership
• Communicate clearly about technical decisions and handle feedback directly
• Able to come into the office 4-5 days a week during the early phase

Nice to haves

• Experience with tracking, analytics, or conversion optimization
• Hands-on work with generative AI or vector search in production
• Familiarity with Vercel workflows, CI/CD, and observability/testing tools
