Exhibitly.ai is building AI-powered tools for the events industry, scaling through inbound wins and a fast-moving product roadmap. You will own features end-to-end, spanning database design, backend logic, and frontend components to ship intuitive experiences people actually use.

We value an AI-native approach, strong Next.js/TS/Tailwind skills, and a solid grasp of data modelling with PostgreSQL. Expect rapid decision-making, user-focused iteration, and a chance to shape architectural direction

Qualifications

• 3+ years building and shipping production web applications.
• AI-native mindset; you use coding agents seriously in day-to-day work.
• Strong with Next.js, TypeScript and Tailwind, with PostgreSQL data modelling.
• Switch between product thinking and engineering without translation.
• UI/UX sense to fix clumsy or overcomplicated interfaces.
• Decisive, fast communicator in a dynamic environment.
• Willing to adapt as information evolves.

Exhibitly.ai is bringing AI to the $60B events industry that's been stuck in 2010. We're building a suite of tools that rethink how events attract, engage, and convert their audiences.

Why now

We've proven the first product. 250+ events signed in 12 months, entirely through inbound. Now we're building the rest of the platform from scratch.

That means new products, bigger technical challenges and a lot of greenfield engineering. Agentic search, AI-powered interfaces, data-heavy workflows, dashboards and entirely new products that don't have an obvious blueprint because nobody has built them for this industry before.

This is a chance to join early enough to have a real impact on how the technology is built.

What you'll do

Build things people actually use

• Own features from the first rough idea to something live in production
• Work across the stack: database design, backend logic, frontend components
• Make products feel intuitive, even when the underlying problem is not
• Stay close to users and use what you learn to improve what you shipped
• Make calls on product and technical direction instead of just implementing tickets
• Use coding agents heavily, but never blindly. Give them context, steer the work, review the output and take responsibility for what lands
• Help us improve the way humans and agents work together across planning, implementation and review
• Keep the codebase easy to change as we move fast. Tests, good boundaries and clear abstractions are part of the work, not cleanup for later

Build for real scale

• Work on systems that already process millions of tracked actions around our largest events
• Find the bottlenecks before they become incidents
• Make pragmatic tradeoffs between speed, reliability and complexity
• Fix the underlying problem instead of adding another workaround

Who you are

• 3+ years building and shipping production web applications
• AI-native. Non-negotiable. You use coding agents seriously in your day-to-day, and you know the difference between steering them and trusting them
• Strong with Next.js, TypeScript and Tailwind, with a solid understanding of PostgreSQL and data modelling
• You switch between product thinking and engineering without needing someone to translate between the two
• A strong eye for UI/UX. You notice when something feels clumsy, confusing or overcomplicated, and you want to fix it
• Comfortable making decisions with incomplete information and changing course when the evidence says you should. Specs are a starting point, not a contract
• Clear communicator who moves fast. A week is a long time here

• Shipped LLM features such as RAG, vector search or evals
• Product analytics, funnels or conversion optimisation
• Figma, design systems, accessibility or motion
• Built scrapers or scripts that run on websites you don't control
• Supabase, Vercel or Turborepo
• Dutch alongside English
