Recruitment Sisters is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect with a strong focus on data and information management. You will shape the enterprise architecture across data, information and applications in a large international setting.

You will translate complex topics for non-technical stakeholders and align data platforms, integrations and business capabilities while partnering with data engineers, architects and business teams.

For our client, an international, technology-driven organisation, we are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect with a strong focus on data and information management.

You will bring structure to a complex and decentralised data and application landscape. Working across business, data and technology, you will create clarity, improve alignment and help teams turn architectural principles into practical decisions.

Your role

You will help shape and evolve the organisation's enterprise architecture for data, information and applications. You will work with stakeholders across business units, countries and technical domains, combining a broad enterprise view with enough attention to detail to understand how decisions will work in practice.

• Map the existing data and application landscape and identify key domains, data flows, dependencies and ownership.
• Develop and maintain a clear enterprise architecture for data and information management.
• Create practical principles and standards for data governance, metadata, data quality and master data management.
• Build trusted relationships and create alignment across business units, countries and technical teams, even when priorities differ.
• Advise business and IT stakeholders on architecture, information management and technology choices.
• Align applications, data platforms, integrations and business capabilities across a complex environment.
• Support the rationalisation and optimisation of the application and platform landscape.
• Assess architectural choices based on business value, feasibility, cost, risk and security.
• Strengthen the data foundations required for analytics, automation and future AI initiatives.
• Translate complex technical subjects into clear and useful language for non-technical stakeholders.
• Build alignment between architects, data engineers, business teams and other stakeholders.

Your profile

You are a mid-level or senior Enterprise Architect with a strong background in data and information management. You are comfortable working in a large international organisation where progress depends on clear communication, sound judgement and the ability to bring different interests together.

• You have several years of relevant experience in enterprise architecture, information architecture, data architecture or data management.
• You understand the relationship between data, applications, business processes and business capabilities.
• You have strong stakeholder management skills and can influence senior business and IT stakeholders without direct authority.
• You have experience with data architecture, information models and data governance.
• You are familiar with areas such as data modelling, master data management, business intelligence, data platforms or data warehousing.
• You understand system integration, interfaces, APIs and data flows.
• Experience with LeanIX is a strong advantage. Experience with a comparable Enterprise Architecture tool is also relevant.
• Knowledge of metamodels, taxonomies, ontologies, analytics, automation or AI is a plus.
• You combine analytical depth with a pragmatic approach and can assess priorities, costs and architectural trade-offs.
• You communicate clearly, work diplomatically and know how to build support across teams and countries.
• You are fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch is an advantage.
