adesso Belgium is seeking a skilled Snowflake Data Engineer to design and build modern data platforms on Snowflake, across Azure, AWS or GCP. You will craft robust, scalable data pipelines and data models enabling clients to become data-driven.

You will join the Data & AI team in Belgium, collaborating across Europe, and contribute to client projects quickly with hands-on Snowflake experience. Strong SQL, data modeling and cloud data engineering skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on Snowflake on at least one major cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) with real-life client solutions.
• Strong SQL skills and data modeling for analytics (dimensional modeling / star schema).
• Experience building ETL/ELT data pipelines into Snowflake using dbt, Airflow, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Informatica or similar.
• Understanding of Snowflake features like virtual warehouses, time travel, cloning, micro-partitioning, streams & tasks.

Responsabilités

• Design and build Snowflake-based data platforms and data warehouse/lakehouse architectures on major clouds (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Ingest data from various sources (files, APIs, relational DBs, SaaS) into Snowflake using Snowpipe, tasks, streams, external stages.
• Collaborate with data analysts, BI developers, analytics engineers and data scientists to make data discoverable and usable.
