Job summary

Combell is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join our SRE team in Belgium. You will help deliver and support our customised cloud and hosting solutions, with a strong focus on automation and monitoring to ensure our operational infrastructure runs optimally.

You will work across containers, automation and traditional hosting environments, taking responsibility for customer environments, incident resolution, and platform development.

Qualifications

• Multiple years of experience in a Linux environment.
• Strong communication skills, written and spoken.
• Dutch as native language and fluent English.
• Analytical, detail-oriented and results-driven.
• Ownership mindset and proactive, able to work under pressure.
• Enjoys teamwork and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Maintain uptime and optimal management of server infrastructure and customer environments.
• Deliver projects and provide in-depth technical support to customers.
• Contribute to the further development of the automation platform.
• Serve as the point of contact for customers with custom environments (cloud, dedicated, firewalls, load balancers).
• Register issues and gather information to provide fast, customer-focused solutions.
• Develop solutions from predefined requirements and handle implementation and handover.
• Monitor and maintain infrastructure (backups, patching, monitoring).
• Handle complex issues and provide explanations as needed.
