Job summary

B.E.S. (Business & Engineering Solutions) is expanding and seeks a Simulation Engineer to advance multiphysics models and thermal simulations for next-generation device development.

You will use COMSOL or equivalent tools to predict performance under varied conditions, focusing on thermal and electro-thermal modelling, experimental validation, and data analysis, while collaborating across engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical, Mechanical or Physics.
• PhD is preferred for advanced research roles.
• Experience or knowledge in multiphysics modelling and simulation using COMSOL or equivalent.
• Knowledge of thermal and electro-thermal modelling and MEMS device design.
• Understanding of experimental validation, data analysis and model correlation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary R&D teams.

As a Simulation Engineer, you will contribute to the development of advanced multiphysics models and thermal simulations, supporting device performance prediction and technology development for next-generation sample preparation.

You will work at the intersection of multiphysics modelling, thermal engineering, MEMS device design and computational simulation, providing simulation-based insights to support engineering decisions and explore innovative AI-driven modelling workflows.

You will contribute to the development of 2D and 3D multiphysics models, using COMSOL or equivalent simulation tools to predict device performance under different operating conditions.

The role focuses particularly on thermal and electro-thermal modelling, including the implementation of temperature-dependent material properties and physics-based thermal models. You will also contribute to experimental validation, data analysis and model correlation to ensure the accuracy and reliability of simulation results.

Working closely with multidisciplinary R&D teams, you will provide simulation-based insights to guide design decisions and technology development, while exploring the potential of AI-driven modelling workflows.

• Experience or knowledge in multiphysics modelling and simulation, using COMSOL or an equivalent tool.
• Knowledge of thermal and electro-thermal modelling and MEMS device design.
• Understanding of experimental validation, data analysis and model correlation.
• Understanding of microfabrication processes and device physics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary R&D teams.
