As a Multiphysics & Thermal Simulation Engineer, you will join high-impact projects as an R&D expert, helping our client accelerate technology development and realize next-generation sample preparation platforms. You'll serve as a key technical bridge—translating complex physics and microfabrication constraints into validated simulation insights.
What you will do
- Develop 2D & 3D multiphysics models using COMSOL (or equivalent platforms) to capture physical behavior and guide key R&D decisions.
- Implement physics-based thermal models incorporating temperature-dependent material dynamics to predict device behavior under real-world conditions.
- Guide product & technology development by converting numerical simulations into concrete, actionable insights for next-generation sample preparation devices.
- Explore AI-driven modeling workflows to optimize simulation speeds, automate parameter sweeps, and enhance predictive modeling capabilities.
- Correlate models with experimental data, taking charge of data analysis and validation loops to continuously refine digital twin accuracy against physical prototypes.
Your profile
- Education & Background: You hold a Master's or PhD degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Physics, or Micro-engineering). A strong applied engineering mindset is highly preferred over purely theoretical focus.
- Multiphysics & Modeling: Expertise in COMSOL Multiphysics or similar finite element analysis (FEA) suites for complex, coupled-physics problems.
- Device Expertise: Deep hands-on experience in thermal, electro-thermal, and MEMS device design.
- Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of microfabrication processes, cleanroom constraints, and underlying micro-device physics.
- Methodology: Proven experience in experimental validation, sensor data analysis, and iterative model calibration.
- Mindset: A pragmatic problem-solver with a 'yes we can' attitude who thrives in multi-disciplinary R&D teams and dynamic consulting environments.
