Job summary

SQLI is seeking a Senior Shopify Backend Developer to own the backend backbone of our e-commerce projects. You will develop custom Shopify apps, implement headless architectures, and build scalable services across ERP, PIM, and middleware integrations.

You will work with NestJS/Node.js, GraphQL, and Shopify APIs, collaborating with architects, POs, and frontend teams to deliver robust, high-performance solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Proven Shopify API and app development experience.
• Experience with Remix, Polaris, Liquid, GraphQL, and Shopify tooling.
• Experience with event-driven architectures (webhooks, async processing).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom Shopify apps and integrations.
• Build backend services using TypeScript/Node.js and NestJS.
• Design integrations with ERP, PIM, and POS systems.
• Collaborate with architects, PO, and frontend teams.

• Develop and maintain custom apps onShopify

• Work extensively with:

  • Admin API (GraphQL)

Integration & DataFlows

• Designandimplementintegrationswith:
