prado is seeking a front-end developer to join our marketing team, focusing on Shopify theme work and site performance across our brands. You will build new sections, translate designs into working code and help optimize the user experience across the US, Canada and Europe.

You will collaborate with designers and performance marketers, maintain pixel-perfect sites, and contribute to the ongoing development of prado 2.0 with integrations like Odoo, ShipHero, Stripe and Klaviyo.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of front-end experience preferred; candidates with less experience will be considered.
• Experience with Shopify, specifically Liquid, Online Store 2.0 (sections, blocks, JSON templates) and Shopify CLI.
• Experience with Shopify APIs (Storefront/Admin) is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience working with Git.
• Able to translate Figma designs into working code.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.

To support our fast-growing e-commerce business, we are looking for a front-end developer (Shopify). You will be part of the marketing team, working closely with designers, content creators and performance marketers. From building new sections to optimizing site performance, you will play a key role in how our brands show up online across the US, Canada and Europe.

What You Will Do

• Build and maintain new sections, templates and features in our Shopify theme, based on designs from our design team.
• Own the front end of our webshops across multiple brands (prado, rond, Atelier Luxus, Vervloet).
• Contribute to the ongoing development of prado 2.0, including integrations such as Odoo, ShipHero, Stripe and Klaviyo.
• Monitor and improve site performance and Core Web Vitals, with an eye for conversion and SEO.
• Work closely with marketing and design to translate campaigns and product launches into a working site experience.
• Proactively flag opportunities to improve UX and site architecture.
• Troubleshoot and resolve front end bugs across our Shopify stores.

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience is preferred, though candidates with less experience will also be considered.
• Experience with Shopify, specifically Liquid, Online Store 2.0 (sections, blocks, JSON templates) and Shopify CLI.
• Experience with Shopify APIs (Storefront/Admin) is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience working with Git.
• An eye for design and attention to detail; comfortable translating Figma designs into working code.
• Able to work independently and switch quickly between small content updates and larger features.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.
