WaW Logistiek in Belgium seeks an experienced maritime transport coordinator to oversee vessel scheduling, cargo handling and port logistics. You will liaise with carriers, forwarders and customs to ensure timely, cost-effective cargo movement and maintain accurate shipment documentation and tracking.

Additionally, you will uphold relationships with existing clients and identify new business opportunities, resolve shipping issues promptly, and accompany the GM on client visits when required.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and oversee all aspects of maritime transportation operations, including vessel scheduling, cargo handling, and port logistics.
• Liaise with shipping carriers, freight forwarders, and customs authorities to ensure timely and cost-effective cargo movement.
• Maintain accurate records of cargo shipments, documentation, and tracking information.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities.
• Resolve any shipping-related issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Accomany the GM on client visits as required by business needs (infrequent)
