EDR Antwerp Shipyard is seeking an Estimator/Calculator to prepare accurate quotations for ship repair projects. You will link customer requirements with internal execution, and collaborate with technical, commercial and operational colleagues.

You will analyze specifications, prepare detailed Excel quotations, and coordinate with suppliers while estimating hours, materials and resources. Strong English and shipyard experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong technical English skills (spoken and written).
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent MS Office knowledge, especially Excel.
• Experience in a ship repair or maritime environment.
• Good understanding of ships and ship systems.
• Able to work independently while also being a team player.
• Motivated, eager to learn and flexible (no strict 9-to-5).
• Marine Engineer degree or equivalent relevant experience.

Responsabilités

• Analyse ship repair specifications and customer requests.
• Prepare complete and detailed quotations in Excel.
• Request and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Estimate required man-hours, materials and resources.
• Communicate with customers to clarify technical or commercial details.
• Send approved quotations and follow up where needed.
• Answer customer questions and update quotation files accordingly.
• Cooperate closely with calculation, commerce and technology teams.
