Medgenix is seeking an experienced Shift Supervisor Fill & Pack to lead the two-shift production team, ensuring quality, safety and efficiency in filling and packaging. You will supervise day-to-day activities, coordinate with two Assistant Supervisors and report to the Production Manager, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and worker development.

Shift Supervisor Fill & Pack – Two-Shift System

Lead the team behind our filling and packaging operations and help turn quality, safety and performance into everyday practice.

As Shift Supervisor Fill & Pack, you lead the day-to-day filling and packaging activities within your shift, supported by two Assistant Supervisors.

You combine people leadership with operational follow-up: keeping your team engaged, making sure production runs according to plan and continuously looking for ways to improve quality, safety and productivity.

You report directly to the Production Manager.

What you will be doing

• Lead, coach and motivate your team and set the example when it comes to procedures, standards and ways of working.
• Give new colleagues a warm welcome and make sure they receive the right training in GMP, safety, quality and hygiene.
• Organise effective team communication, including shift handovers, safety meetings and discussions around productivity and deviations.
• Coordinate and closely follow the filling and packaging schedule.
• Look for opportunities to continuously improve productivity and the way the team works.
• Make sure our pharmaceutical and cosmetic products are filled and packed according to procedures, specifications and applicable quality and safety requirements.
• Ensure filling and packaging operations are started up correctly.
• Help identify and implement improvements in quality, productivity, safety and employee wellbeing.
• Follow up technical issues and changes to equipment, utilities and production areas.
• Provide accurate reporting and participate in daily production meetings.

Your formula for success

You’re someone who likes being close to both people and production. You can set clear expectations, motivate others and keep an overview when things get busy.

Ideally:

• You have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and/or several years of experience in a supervisory role within production.
• You’re motivated to lead and develop a team.
• You communicate clearly and easily with different people.
• You have an affinity for technology and enjoy a hands-on production environment.
• You have an excellent command of Dutch, both spoken and written.
