Job summary

Let's Work zoekt een Team Leader voor de verpakking van koel- en vriesproducten. U leidt 3 operators en 2 heftruckchauffeurs op 3 automatische verpakkingslijnen en bent actief hands-on op de machines. U stelt machines in, bewaakt productie, kwaliteit, veiligheid en planning en lost uitdagingen op de vloer op.

Goede organisatie en duidelijke communicatie zijn essentieel. U beheert de workflow, bewaakt efficiëntie, en fungeert als eerste aanspreekpunt voor het team.

Qualifications

• Ervaring met automatische verpakkingslijnen is essentieel.
• Technisch inzicht en hands-on mentaliteit.
• Ervaring met CPS, multihead weighers, checkweighers, metalen detectie systemen en/of stackers is een voordeel.
• Ervaring in het aansturen of coördineren van een team is een plus.
• Goede organisatorische en communicatieve vaardigheden.
• Goede kennis van Nederlands en Engels; basiskennis Frans is vereist.

Responsibilities

• Aansturen van een team van 3 operators en 2 heftrijchauffeurs.
• Toezicht houden op productieprocessen en dag-tot-dag operaties met het team.
• Beheren van 3 automatische verpakkingslijnen en het instellen, monitoren en afstellen van de machines.
• Zorgen voor kwaliteit, veiligheid, efficiëntie en productieplanning tijdens de productie.
• Uitvoeren van controles op producten en verpakkingen; afwijkingen herkennen en waar mogelijk zelf oplossen.
• Zorgen voor duidelijke taakverdeling en correcte communicatie op de productievloer.
• Klant- en medewerkercontactpunt zijn voor operators en chauffeurs.

This company (re)packages and stores frozen and chilled food products for numerous European businesses. They do this in a customized way for each client. By 2027, the company aims to have more than 300 employees working together on 25,000 unique packaging assignments.

You oversee the production process and, together with your team, ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

You monitor the operation of 3 automatic packaging machines

You manage 3 operators and 2 forklift drivers and provide guidance throughout their work

You actively work on the machines yourself and step in wherever needed

You set up, monitor, and adjust the packaging machines

During production, you monitor quality, safety, efficiency, and production planning

You carry out checks on products and packaging

You identify malfunctions and deviations and resolve them yourself whenever possible

You ensure an efficient distribution of tasks and clear communication within the team

You are the first point of contact for employees on the production floor

Profiel

Do you know automatic packaging lines inside out, enjoy taking a hands-on approach, and at the same time know how to keep an overview of both your team and the production process? Then this Team Leader position could be a great fit for you.

Experience working with an automatic packaging line is essential

You have strong technical insight and a hands-on mentality

Experience with CPS, multihead weighers, checkweighers, metal detection systems and/or automatic stackers is an advantage

Experience managing or coordinating a team is an asset

You have natural leadership skills and the maturity required to take responsibility

You have good organisational and communication skills

You communicate very well in Dutch and English and have a basic knowledge of French. This is essential, as you will be managing operators and forklift drivers who speak Dutch, English, or French
