Job summary

WLG in Brussels is seeking an experienced SharePoint specialist to help secure and streamline a growing SharePoint estate. The project spans assessment, redesign, automation, and handover to a steering group, with full on-site engagement.

You will shape information architecture, navigation, and metadata, implement RBAC, and document outcomes for governance, working closely with knowledge management officers.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SharePoint experience from configuration to information architecture.
• Track record of UX and usability improvements inside SharePoint.
• Experience building secure SharePoint environments in security-sensitive or regulated settings.
• Strong written English and ability to brief a mixed audience.

Responsibilities

This project reviews it, redesigns it, automates what should never have been manual, and hands it over properly. Fully on site, working closely with the team's knowledge management officers.

What You Would Be Doing

• Assessing the current sites - structure, permissions, usage - and finding the gaps and the quick wins
• Gathering the team's requirements and turning them into a cleaner, more consistent design
• Reworking navigation, libraries, metadata and content so people find things first time
• Spotting the processes worth automating, and building those workflows
• Reviewing and implementing role-based access and permission structures
• Documenting the result and presenting it to the project's steering group

What you would bring

• Proven, hands‑on SharePoint experience, from configuration to information architecture
• A track record of UX and usability improvements inside SharePoint
