Wlgroup in Brussels is seeking a SharePoint specialist to review and redesign an estate for a security-sensitive environment. The project is fully on site and requires close collaboration with knowledge management officers to deliver a clean, secure information architecture.

You will assess sites, define requirements, redesign navigation, metadata, and permissions, and document results for steering group approval.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SharePoint experience from configuration to information architecture.
• Proven track record of UX improvements inside SharePoint.
• Experience building secure SharePoint environments in security-sensitive settings.
• Good written English and the confidence to brief a mixed audience.

A security team at a multinational defence organisation in Brussels has a SharePoint estate that has grown the way most do: unevenly. This project reviews it, redesigns it, automates what should never have been manual, and hands it over properly. Fully on site, working closely with the team's knowledge management officers.

What you would be doing

• Assessing the current sites - structure, permissions, usage - and finding the gaps and the quick wins
• Gathering the team's requirements and turning them into a cleaner, more consistent design
• Reworking navigation, libraries, metadata and content so people find things first time
• Spotting the processes worth automating, and building those workflows
• Reviewing and implementing role-based access and permission structures
• Documenting the result and presenting it to the project's steering group
