Job summary

GEA Process Engineering België in Kontich is looking for a Service Support Engineer to join a dynamic service team. You will work with product specialists, service sales engineers and field service engineers to support customers across food, dairy, pharma and chemical industries.

You will independently prepare service jobs, draft technical quotes, coordinate field service engineers and provide technical guidance to customers while driving continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Strong interest in industrial process installations, maintenance and engineering.
• Structured, proactive and solution-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication; enjoys teamwork.
• Good Dutch with solid English; French is a plus.
• Knowledge of process industry, machinery maintenance is advantageous.
• Experience with spare parts, service contracts, upgrades and modernization is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare service assignments for safe, quality execution.
• Create technical quotes and perform cost calculations.
• Order and follow up materials, parts and services for service and maintenance.
• Coordinate and plan Field Service Engineers for maintenance, revisions and interventions.
• Provide technical advies to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Support planned maintenance stops, shutdowns, upgrades, and retrofit projects.
• Evaluate performed service activities and drive continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, spare parts and service teams to strengthen service delivery.
• Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships; manage expectations professionally.
• Identify commercial opportunities for spare parts, service contracts, upgrades and modernization.
