Job summary

Consort Group Belgium in Brussels is seeking a Senior Test Manager / Test Coordinator to oversee testing across projects in the insurance sector. You will lead testing activities, define plans, and work with business analysts, IT teams and stakeholders to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

You will supervise teams, manage risks and defects, and promote AI-assisted testing. Fluency in French or Dutch and English is expected, with hybrid work in Brussels.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in Test Management, Test Coordination or Test Lead positions.
• Good understanding of testing methodologies, processes and tools.
• Experience coordinating functional testing teams and managing multiple projects.
• Comfortable with both test management and hands-on testing activities.
• Practical experience using AI tools in software testing, particularly for test planning and test preparation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise testing activities across multiple projects.
• Define and monitor test plans and testing strategies.
• Manage testing teams and coordinate their activities.
• Monitor test progress, identify risks and follow up on defects.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Remain hands-on and support testing activities when needed.
• Develop a good understanding of the applications and functional environment.
• Promote the use of Artificial Intelligence in testing activities and share your knowledge with the team.
