ITproposal Brussels is seeking a Senior Test Lead - Change Management to drive Quality Engineering transformation across settlement platforms in a regulated financial environment. The role collaborates with Agile delivery teams, business stakeholders, DevOps, and governance functions to adopt modern QA practices such as BDD, automation-first testing, and continuous testing.

Qualifications

8-10 years of testing and Quality Engineering experience.
Strong experience in Test Management and Microsoft Test Management.
Strong expertise in BDD and test automation frameworks.
Experience designing and implementing test automation strategies.
Strong understanding of test architecture and continuous testing.
Experience working within Agile environments and multiple delivery squads.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Strong understanding of modern QA and Quality Engineering practices.
Experience with test management, governance, metrics, and reporting.
Excellent analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

Lead adoption of BDD and automation-first testing strategies.
Define and execute change adoption strategies across multiple Agile squads.
Identify resistance and address adoption barriers.
Drive transition from traditional QA to Quality Engineering mindset.
Establish and track transformation KPIs, including automation coverage, BDD adoption, and cycle-time improvements.
Design and scale BDD frameworks using Cucumber and SpecFlow.
Align business, development, and QA teams through shared specifications.
Promote Three Amigos, Example Mapping, and collaborative refinement.
Integrate BDD practices into CI/CD pipelines and the software delivery lifecycle.
Define governance models covering test strategy, change rollout, regulatory compliance, and quality metrics.
Track metrics such as automation coverage, defect leakage, cycle time, deployment frequency.
Build dashboards using Jira, Azure DevOps, and Power BI.
Promote Test-as-Code practices and alignment with DevOps maturity.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Test Lead - Change Management to drive Quality Engineering transformation across settlement platforms within a regulated financial environment.

The successful candidate will work across Agile delivery teams, business stakeholders, technology and DevOps teams, and enterprise governance functions. The role focuses on driving the adoption of modern QA practices, including BDD, automation-first testing, continuous testing, and shift-left/shift-right approaches, while leading structured change and cultural transformation.

Key Responsibilities Change Management & Quality Transformation

Lead the adoption of Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) and automation-first testing strategies.
Define and execute change adoption strategies across multiple Agile squads.
Identify resistance and proactively address adoption barriers.
Drive the transition from traditional QA to a Quality Engineering mindset.
Establish and track transformation KPIs, including automation coverage, BDD adoption, and cycle-time improvements.

BDD & Quality Engineering

Design and scale BDD frameworks using tools such as Cucumber and SpecFlow.
Align business, development, and QA teams through shared specifications.
Promote Three Amigos, Example Mapping, and collaborative refinement.
Integrate BDD practices into CI/CD pipelines and the software delivery lifecycle.

Test Automation Strategy

Define and implement enterprise-level test automation strategies.
Promote API-first testing, the test pyramid model, and continuous testing.
Standardize automation tools and frameworks, including Selenium, Playwright, and REST Assured.
Ensure automation frameworks are scalable, reusable, and maintainable.

Agile Delivery & Stakeholder Management

Work across multiple Agile teams to standardize testing approaches and quality gates.
Act as a bridge between QA, DevOps, Product, and Development teams.
Establish and support Communities of Practice for Quality Engineering.
Engage with senior stakeholders, program managers, and architecture teams.
Provide executive-level reporting on transformation progress.
Define governance models covering test strategy, change rollout, regulatory compliance, and quality metrics.

Metrics & Continuous Improvement

Track key metrics such as:
- Automation coverage
- Defect leakage
- Cycle time
- Deployment frequency
Build and maintain dashboards using Jira, Azure DevOps, and Power BI.
Use data and reporting to drive continuous improvement and informed decision-making.
