Vivid Resourcing Ltd is seeking a Senior Test Engineer in Belgium to own testing across the development lifecycle. The role covers software, electronics/hardware and mechanical systems, with a hands-on, multidisciplinary approach and a focus on test automation using Python.

You will mentor colleagues and influence R&D planning and design improvements to ensure product quality and reliability. You will lead test campaigns, define strategies, and collaborate with software, hardware, and mechanical

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Several years of experience as a Test/Verification/Validation engineer or similar.
• Strong understanding of test strategy, planning, test case definition and test execution.

Responsabilités

• Define and document test strategies, plans, test cases and methodologies.
• Lead and coordinate test campaigns across functional, technical and performance requirements.
• Execute test activities across software, electronics/hardware and mechanical components.
• Analyse test results, identify anomalies, investigate root causes of failures.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting across multidisciplinary systems.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Python.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive or time-consuming testing.
• Document test results, failures and corrective actions.
• Support regression testing after design changes or software/hardware updates.
