McGregor Boyall is looking for a Senior Tender / Proposal Engineer to support complex industrial projects across Belgium and internationally within a rapidly growing EPC group.

In this role you will input technical and commercial content to develop competitive, realistic and technically robust proposals for industrial piping, mechanical systems and high-value EPC projects in the industrial, energy and data centre sectors.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Tendering, Proposal Engineering, Estimation or Pre-Construction within an industrial EPC environment.
• Strong understanding of industrial piping and mechanical systems.
• Experience with evaluating supplier/subcontractor quotations and cost estimates.

Responsabilités

• Analyse tender documentation, specifications and contractual requirements.
• Develop execution strategies and construction methodologies.
• Support cost estimation across labour, materials, subcontractors and logistics.
• Review and analyse supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Operations and Project Management teams.
• Identify technical risks, opportunities and cost savings.
• Ensure proposals are commercially competitive while achievable and technically sound.
• Contribute to the preparation and submission of high-quality technical and commercial tenders.

About the Role

A rapidly growing industrial EPC business is strengthening its Tendering team and looking for an experienced Senior Tender / Proposal Engineer to support complex industrial projects across Belgium and internationally.

The company specializes in industrial piping, mechanical systems and high-value EPC projects, with a growing portfolio across the industrial, energy and data center sectors.

This is a key role within the tendering function, providing technical and commercial input to develop competitive, realistic and technically robust proposals.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse tender documentation, specifications and contractual requirements.


• Develop execution strategies and construction methodologies.


• Support cost estimation across labour, materials, subcontractors and logistics.


• Review and analyse supplier and subcontractor quotations.


• Coordinate closely with Engineering, Procurement, Operations and Project Management teams.


• Identify technical risks, opportunities and potential cost savings.


• Ensure proposals are commercially competitive while remaining technically and operationally achievable.


• Contribute to the preparation and submission of high-quality technical and commercial tenders.

About You

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering or a related discipline.


• Proven experience in Tendering, Proposal Engineering, Estimation or Pre-Construction within an industrial EPC environment.


• Strong understanding of industrial piping, mechanical systems, energy or industrial construction.


• Experience working with technical specifications, cost estimates and supplier/subcontractor quotations.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Structured, commercially aware and solution-oriented approach.


• Comfortable working across multiple engineering and project disciplines.


• French or English language skills required.
