Job summary

Capgemini in Diegem is seeking an SAP Finance Consultant to support clients in transforming and optimizing financial processes using SAP’s latest technologies. You will translate complex business challenges into robust SAP solutions and guide customers through the full project lifecycle.

The role requires a finance-minded SAP expert with strong analytical skills, experience in SAP Finance, and the ability to coach junior colleagues.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and at least 3–5 years of experience in SAP Finance
• Solid understanding of core finance processes: General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling, Financial Closing

Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand financial business requirements and translate them into clear SAP functional specifications.
• Design, configure, and implement SAP Finance solutions (FI/CO/AA/AP/AR/Bank Accounting/Universal Ledger).
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to define scope and ensure solution alignment.
• Support testing activities, integration validation, cutover preparation, and go-live phases.
• Provide expert advice on SAP best practices and promote a standard-first approach.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and other domains for end-to-end process consistency.
