Eniris in Belgium seeks a Senior Team Lead Innovation to drive the Innovation Team, mentoring developers, ensuring quality, and aligning with Product Owner, Sales, and Support. You own the technical direction and translate energy challenges into robust designs that enable growth and innovation.

As Senior Team Lead Innovation, you are the technical and people-focused driving force behind our Innovation Team. You combine coaching, quality assurance, and strategic alignment with internal stakeholders.

You ensure that your team can grow, deliver, and innovate without unnecessary roadblocks. You act as a mentor, quality guardian, and sparring partner for the Product Owner, Sales, and Support teams. In short: you make innovation possible.

Your responsibilities

• Guide and coach the developers in your team, with a strong focus on growth, quality, and ownership.
• Take ownership of the technical direction of our platform and translate complex challenges into robust, scalable software designs and solutions.
• Ensure the technical quality of all deliverables, including code quality, code reviews, merge requests, testing, and documentation.
• Discuss new ideas, customer-focused improvements such as usability, stability, and new features, as well as opportunities to enter new markets.
• Think strategically about how innovation can strengthen our products.
• Support the team in making sound technical decisions and help remove technical or organizational blockers.

Your profile

• You have at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role, combined with sufficient technical depth to discuss architecture, evaluate different solution approaches, and provide substantive guidance to junior engineers.
• You have a strong background in software engineering and extensive experience designing and building complex software applications. This experience allows you to critically evaluate different technical approaches and guide developers in making sound technical decisions.
• You have experience translating complex energy-related challenges into robust software solutions. Experience in the energy sector is a must.
• You are solution-oriented and take ownership when obstacles arise.
• You communicate clearly and constructively with both developers and business stakeholders.
• You value structure but can adapt flexibly when priorities change.
