Eniris in Belgium is seeking a Software Tester to safeguard quality across our software products. You’ll translate requirements into test scenarios, run manual and automated tests, and collaborate with the development team to prevent regressions before releases.

As a Software Tester at Eniris, you are the guardian of quality across our software products. You work closely with our software development team to ensure that every release is stable, secure, and performant.

You translate functional requirements into clear test scenarios, perform both manual and automated testing, and analyze results to identify bugs before our systems go live for customers.

Your responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and execute test scenarios for our web applications, APIs, and EMS software.
• Identify, document, and accurately report bugs in close collaboration with the development team.
• Review functional specifications to ensure testability from an early stage of the development process.
• Contribute to setting up and continuously improving our automated testing processes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor and validate the interaction between our physical SmartgridOne controllers and the devices they control.
• Help ensure that new features and integrations work reliably in real-world energy systems.

Your profile

• You have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, combined with a strong passion for software quality and testing.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium is a strong plus.
• You have a sharp eye for detail and are not satisfied until edge cases and relevant scenarios have been thoroughly tested.
• You are analytical, structured, and able to communicate technical issues clearly.
• You speak and write fluent Dutch and have a good working knowledge of English.
• An interest in or affinity with sustainable energy systems is a strong advantage and will help you better understand the products and projects you are testing.
