Elia Group in Belgium seeks a Splunk and Linux System Engineer to support Linux-based IT infrastructure and the Splunk platform. You will combine Linux system engineering with Splunk administration, handle incidents, perform maintenance, and implement changes with minimal service disruption.

You will design and improve Splunk solutions, onboard data sources, configure forwarders, indexes, dashboards, alerts, and field extractions.

Formación

• 4+ years in IT operations with Linux-based infrastructure in large environments.
• At least 2 years of hands-on Splunk production administration.
• Proficient in Dutch or French; English professional working proficiency.
• Ability to onboard data sources using forwarders and apps.
• Strong SPL knowledge for searches, dashboards, alerts, and extractions.
• Experience with monitoring, incident handling, and ITIL-aligned processes.

Responsabilidades

• Support Linux and Splunk platforms, resolve incidents, and implement changes.
• Design and improve Splunk solutions, including data onboarding and dashboards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, reliable systems.
• Automate through scripting and IaC to standardise configurations.
• Participate in R&D and solution prototyping for new Splunk capabilities.
