Job summary

Redwire Space in Kruibeke, Belgium, seeks a Senior Mechanisms Engineer to own the full development lifecycle of space mechanisms from concept to product delivery. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and customers to deliver high-reliability mechanisms for demanding space applications.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years in development of mechanisms or related hardware.
• Experience delivering hardware through product lifecycle from concept to qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of space-qualified mechanisms (latching, push-off, precision motion).
• Define and maintain requirements, architectures, baselines per ECSS/NASA standards.
• Drive trade-off analyses and engineering decisions across lifecycle.
