IBA is seeking an experienced Sourcing Category Manager for Mechanical Components in Louvain-la-Neuve to define and execute vision, strategy, and roadmap for the category, ensuring supply continuity and driving cost optimization.

You will lead a team of sourcing professionals, collaborate across the organization, and contribute to sustainability goals while negotiating with key suppliers in a global procurement context.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management in an industrial company.
• At least 3 years in team leadership or people management.
• Proven track record in category strategy development and cost optimization.
• Experience with direct material categories (mechanical components).
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English; speaking French is required for professional conversations.
• Proficiency with procurement systems, ideally SAP MM.
