UCB is seeking a Global Procurement Category Manager for IT Hardware & Telecom based in Brussels. You will drive end-to-end procurement, develop category strategies, and negotiate with global and local providers to secure optimal value.

You will collaborate with Digital Technology, infrastructure teams, and stakeholders across regions to enable responsible spend management and supplier governance. Fluency in English is required, and a proactive, cross-functional mindset is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier management, or category management.
• Experience with IT hardware and/or telecommunications categories, including supplier negotiations and contract management.
• Strong understanding of hardware and telecom spend areas (servers, data center, end-user devices).
• Fluent in English with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage global IT Hardware & Telecom spend and oversee end-to-end procurement processes across the category.
• Develop and implement category strategies covering Telecom and Hardware.
• Identify opportunities to restructure the category, optimize spend, consolidate vendors, and improve outcomes.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and providers.
• Lead supplier selection efforts for IT hardware and telecom solutions.
• Manage RFI/RFP processes using procurement tools.
• Provide sourcing recommendations considering market dynamics and supplier capabilities.
• Negotiate terms with global/local providers, ensuring contractual compliance with Legal and Digital Technology.
• Embed risk management, SLAs, data protection, security, quality and sustainability requirements into contracts.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and approve POs within thresholds.
