Amazon in Belgium (AWS) seeks a Solutions Architect to build trusted advisor relationships with enterprise customers in the Benelux region. You will design scalable, resilient cloud architectures, provide prescriptive guidance, and lead architecture reviews, whiteboarding sessions and technical workshops.

You will collaborate with account teams, professional services, and product groups to evangelize AWS technology.

Qualifications

• Experience in technology domains (e.g. software, cloud, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• Experience in architecture, design, implementation or consulting for applications and infrastructures.
• Ability to drive technical discussions, architecture design sessions & solution reviews.
• Fluent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Experience communicating with executive stakeholders and non-technical audiences.

As a Solutions Architect at AWS, you'll build technical relationships with customers of all sizes and operate as their trusted advisor, ensuring they get the most out of the cloud at every stage of their journey.

You'll manage the overall technical relationship between AWS and our customers, help them design and build some of the most scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures and solutions. You'll understand the customer's needs and give prescriptive guidance on how to create business value with AWS technology. You'll lead activities such as architecture reviews, white-boarding sessions, demos and technical workshops. You'll collaborate with other teams such as account management, professional services, support, product teams and the AWS partner ecosystem.

In this role you will get to practice your creativity, linking technology to tangible solutions and educating AWS customers about the art of the possible. You will have the opportunity to define and create best practices, technical content and new reference architectures (e.g. white papers, code samples, blog posts) and evangelize and educate about AWS technology (e.g. through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos or conferences).

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• Experience in architecture, design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• Experience driving technical discussions, architecture design sessions & solution reviews.
• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with High-Tech & Manufacturing Industry
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
• Experience with AWS technologies
• Cloud Technology Certification (such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional or Cloud DevOps Engineering)
• Experience with AI/ML concepts and their practical application in enterprise environments (e.g. machine learning, generative AI, and agentic AI)
