Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Solution Architect to design end-to-end architectures for complex, multi-tier systems and guide cloud-native, API-first initiatives. You will lead transformation of monolithic apps into microservices, ensuring high availability, performance, and regulatory compliance across banking environments.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with DevOps and security teams, and ensure architectural decisions align with enterprise governance and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience with end-to-end architecture for complex systems.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end architecture for complex, multi-tiered systems.
• Lead transformation to microservices and cloud-native designs.
• Ensure highly available, resilient, and secure banking applications.
• Architect and guide API-first solutions and cloud-native development.
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, security for enterprise standards.
• Participate in architecture governance and mentor junior architects.
• Communicate architectural trade-offs to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, SOX, GLBA and internal risk guidelines.
