Jobgether, listing on behalf of a partner company, seeks an Experienced Software Engineer based in Belgium. You will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software across a broad product ecosystem serving millions of users.

You will work in a fully distributed environment across borders, contributing to backend and frontend systems, collaborating with teams worldwide, and embracing modern practices, testing, and open-source collaboration.

Qualifications

• Production-type software delivery experience.
• Experience with multiple languages; PHP and JavaScript focus requested.
• Experience with scalable systems and large user bases.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to reason across abstractions and architectures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in a distributed team.
• Willingness to travel 3–4 weeks per year.
• Growth mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality software across a broad product ecosystem.
• Solve complex technical problems through debugging and investigation.
• Work across multiple layers of the tech stack to optimize performance and reliability.
• Collaborate across teams and contribute to open-source where appropriate.
• Participate in frequent production deployments with CI and code reviews.
