Johnson & Johnson in Beerse, Belgium, is seeking a Senior Scientist for Parenterals & Liquids Development to advance lipid nanoparticle technologies for RNA therapeutics. You will lead formulation and process development across late Discovery to Commercialization, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in DPRD.

The role emphasizes hands-on lab work, scale-up leadership, and regulatory documentation in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical/Chemical Engineering or Biochemistry with 6 years of experience, Master’s degree with 4 years of experience, or PhD with 2 years of experience is required.
• Hands-on parenteral/liquid formulation and process development experience for LNP/t-LNP systems for RNA delivery.

Responsabilités

• Performs formulation and process development activities for innovative parenteral and liquid dosage forms with focus on LNP/t-LNP systems.
• Develops and optimizes LNP manufacturing processes including nanoparticle formation, TFF, conjugation, sterile filtration, and fill-finish considerations.
• Provide technical leadership for scale-up, technology transfer, and clinical manufacturing activities; contribute to regulatory submissions and tech transfer reports.
• Collaborates with Protein development, Chemistry, Process engineering, and external partners and CDMOs.
• Develops expertise by literature review and translating insights into patient-centric solutions.
