Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in Beerse, Belgium, seeks a Senior Scientist for Parenterals & Liquids Development with a focus on Lipid Nanoparticle (LNP) and targeted LNP technologies. You will lead formulation and process development for parenteral and liquid dosage forms, enabling RNA delivery across late development to commercialization.

The role requires hands-on expertise in LNP/t-LNP systems, scale-up, tech transfer, and collaboration with cross-functional teams and CDMOs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical/Chemical Engineering or Biochemistry with required experience.
• Master's degree with 4+ years experience or PhD with 2+ years experience.
• Hands-on experience in parenteral/liquid formulation for LNP/t-LNP RNA delivery.

Responsabilités

• Perform formulation and process development for parenteral and liquid dosage forms focusing on LNP/t-LNP systems.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes including nanoparticle formation and fill-finish considerations.
• Provide technical leadership for scale-up, tech transfer, and clinical manufacturing activities.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners (CDMOs) to advance delivery platform.
• Develop expertise, review literature, and translate insights into patient-centric solutions.
