Ariad is seeking a Senior SCADA Software Engineer for a client in the energy sector near Brussels, Belgium. You will join a 24/7 mission-critical SCADA platform and contribute to both backend (SCIL) and frontend (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript) development.

Focus on MicroSCADA X (SYS600), strong architectural skills, and working in an Agile/SAFe environment. On-call rotation after onboarding ensures system availability across European sites.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in IT, electronics, electrical engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant SCADA/software experience.
• Strong industrial mindset and robust software engineering skills.
• Basic understanding of power generation and grid operations.
• Proactive, structured, reliable, and solutions-oriented.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain the SCADA platform based on MicroSCADA X (SYS600).
• Contribute to backend (SCIL) and frontend (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Apply solid architectural and clean-code principles.
• Work with analysts and operations in an Agile/SAFe environment.
• Join on-call rotation after onboarding to ensure system availability.
