Free-Work UK in Brussels requires a Senior SCADA Software Engineer to develop and maintain SCADA X (microSCADA) across frontend and backend using SCIL, HTML5, CSS, and JS/TS.

You will apply architectural design principles and solid craftsmanship, work in an Agile/SAFe team, and participate in on-call support to keep critical tools available 24/7.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• At least 3 years of experience.
• Knowledge of programming languages: SCIL for backend; HTML5/CSS/JS/TS for web frontend; GitHub-based CI/CD.

• Develop and maintain SCADA X (microSCADA) software.

Senior SCADA Software Engineer

Your Role Is Mainly To

• Develop and maintain our SCADA X (microSCADA)
• Work on both front-end and back-end development using SCIL, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript
• Apply architectural design principles
• Apply software craftsmanship principles (SOLID, DRY, KISS, YAGNI) to build clean, maintainable, and resilient code
• Collaborate in an Agile/SAFe environment with analysts, dispatchers, and technical teams
• Contribute to on-call support to ensure system availability. (Our tools are business critical and used 24/7)

Profil Candidat

You have :

• a master's degree
• at least 3 years experience
• some knowledge of basic programming languages :
• SCIL developments for the backend
• Web development for the front-end (HTML5, CSS3, Javascript / Typescript)
• Version control and CI/CD implementation (supported by Github)

CV only in english. Daily rate all included based on working location Brussel. Remote to be agreed with customer.
