WLG is seeking an experienced Satellite Network Engineer to design, integrate and operate complex satellite and hybrid IP services from Mons, Belgium. You will work across hub-and-spoke, mesh, and point-to-point topologies, translating requirements into robust network solutions and performance reporting.

The role requires 5+ years in IP networking, strong TCP/IP fundamentals, and hands-on Cisco routing/switching experience (CCNA required, CCNP preferred).

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in IP networking and troubleshooting complex environments.
• Experience supporting satellite, WAN or deployed comms in operational contexts.
• CCNA is required; CCNP Enterprise preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical expertise in design, integration, operation and optimisation of satellite network architectures.
• Support the integration and management of hybrid satellite services, military and commercial.
• Design end-to-end IP services across satellite and terrestrial infrastructure.
• Design and implement VLAN tagging, Q-in-Q, VLAN translation, trunking and traffic segmentation.
• Configure, operate, optimise and troubleshoot SCPC, MCPC, TDMA and other satellite access schemes.
• Diagnose end-to-end connectivity problems including routing faults and MTU issues.
• Support deployments, exercises and mission-related activity.
• Contribute to service performance reporting within service management processes.
